Fortunately, there was a disposable ST1300 available.

Let me echo everyone's sentiment. Absolute wonderful weekend,  :hatwave the great chats  and :beer and  :eat and catch ups  :runyay more than made up for the odd drop or two of rain.  :butt
I must admit that the NSW constabulary  :cop must have been made aware of the gathering of STeeds because I counted well over a dozen of the well camouflaged variety on my journey to and from the rally, however they stayed noticeably absent from the Rally venue,  :clap well done organisers.
To the organisers, your selfless and professional commitment at putting such a great venue was phenomenal.  :-++  I could not repay you enough for the work you have put into the Rally.  :rockon I only wish that work commitments had not limited me to two nights.

Thank you all

and there wasn't enough money to be made out on the country roads with the low volume of traffic we provided.  Much bigger catches to be made out on the highway.

STopped in for breakfast at Maclean yesterday then decided to head home.
Fueling up at Woodburn i heard a tooting car only to look up and see Justin and Allison waving as they drove past  :hatwave
I Pulled in at Chinderah north to put the wet liner in the jacket and grab a coffee.
Checked the radar as it was looking ugly then found this hail & lightening mess.
It pissed down soon after.Choice !

Thank you to the Rally organising team, upper management and everyone that was able to attend. It was another fantastic event  ;-*

Congratulations and thanks again to the organising committee, fortunately the weather didn't dampen the enthusiasm OZSTOCers have for standing or sitting around yarning.  A great weekend in great company.  ++ ++ ++ ++

I had a relatively short trip to Stanthorpe on Monday and was pleased to have planned it that way!  About 40km from Tenterfield I caught up to the rain and storms and did the last 100 or so kilometres in showers and the proverbial raining cats and dogs.  The final leg on Tuesday was brilliant - partly cloudy, 15-25C and little to no traffic - the kind of days the ST was designed for I think.

Stay safe everyone and see you at the next RTE/rally/whatever.

Cheers

Congratulations and thanks to the organising committee for making this a memorable weekend.

Had a good ride toward home via Bendemeer. The first day (Monday), saw a lot of showers all around me not didn't get wet all the time I was on the road.

My route was via Grafton, over the Gibraltar Range to Glen Innes - temperature ranged from 22 down to 11, then back up to 22 but not before I added layers - on to Inverell, checked out the transport museum there, then on the Bundarra Road via Tingha to Uralla, then onto Bendemeer for the night.

Next day was picture perfect and looked good riding day, until I got a puncture at the bottom of the Moonbi hill.
The riding fraternity being what it is, one young man stopped to offer assistance but as I had it all patched up, thanked him and off he went.
Another group of four also slowed but got the "go on" wave as I was just about to start again myself.

I had intended to go back to Sydney via the Bylong Valley Way, but time was now against me so I took the easy way out through Putty arriving home just on 5pm.

A great ride and a great weekend with really great people.  :thumbsup

Thank you all again

I arrived home in Tassie today after having a great time at the rally
Day 1 left Wooli and travelled down to Port Macquarie
Day 2 Port Macquarie to Muswellbrook , originally was going to travel down the Princes Hwy and in through Singleton but decided to travel via the Oxley Hwy to Tamworth then down the Hwy to Muswellbrook
Day 3 Muswellbrook to Wagga Wagga via the Bylong way to Ilford then through Sofala to Bathurst then down the Olympic Hwy to Wagga Wagga
Day 4 Wagga Wagga to Sale down the Olympic Hwy to Wodonga onto bright then over Mt Hotham and down the Great Alpine Road to sale
Day 5 Sale to Melbourne via Phillip Island and onto the Boat.
I had planned to meet up with Diesel for Breakfast at Sheffield once I was off the boat but it raining fairly heavily when the boat pulled in so I texted Diesel to say I was heading straight home.

The only incidents I had on the way back , one coming into Bathurst where a car was indicating to turn to right and with the right indicator on turned left across in front of me , a bit of a lock up , kept the bike upright motor running and didn’t hit anything. The other was on the way up Mt Hotham where there a lot of 30 and 35 Kph corners , as I was coming around a left 30kph corner leading into a right 35kph blind corner a D/cab Ute came around the outside of me thankfully nothing came around that corner he then did the same to a car up in front.
I also nearly head butted two magpies one seagull and two galahs, other than all of the a pretty clear run good weather all the way.
