what state are they in...sigh... I'm so lazy

I guess Lake Cargelligo in NSW is what they mean which like the Border run is only a 1000 (+/- a couple) kms from home so we'll think about that one once our rally is done.
Beachport, SA......another one we can do as well.

We will do Nambucca Heads and another later in the year, the planning is quit interesting as I have never looked at distance ride to achieve a safe pre-determined arrival time before, normally I just leave the travel plans to Chris, but have accepted this small challenge :thumbsup
Pockey :wink1

Darwin is in the NT!
Might have to do that one. Thinking of maybe doing the Triangle (Darwin, Jabiru, Katherine and back to Darwin) although I think that only comes in at about 900 so might have to make it Mataranka instead of Katherine. My other option is to leave Darwin at lunchtime on the Friday, overnight with southerners at Barkly (598km) then back for the lunchtime checkin on Saturday. Even better it's V8 weekend at Hidden Valley! :KissBlow

sounds like a good plan Wendy. There are a number f us heading up to the Barkly, I think it is around Easter to celebrate a birthday. I think the info is on the FarRiders site

I was chatting to Brookester last night, he was the one who suggested Barkly. I was even thinking of incorporating a SS1600 and going over to Kunnunurra on the Friday afternoon, back on the Saturday.... Just have to wait and see how it all pans out. I've joined the FarRiders forum, but haven't had a chance to sit and read yet. Been a busy week here...

I am going to try for all the east coast ones, plus the Border Run.

I'm in for Nambucca doing an FR12Gold and have diarised the rest. Looking forward to another big year- managed three IBAs and three FRs this year, 27180 kays so far. No challenge to saaz or TJ !! Sounds like saaz is planning to get the Trumpy properly run-in by the end of 2014.
