Either way I will be doing a BIG loop to the East before turning back West.

Well that's another Farride done and dusted.
I left Armadale at 18.45, Friday night. The new lights from MCL were fantastic. Even managed to out a white car parked on the side of the road, then slow down in time. :runyay
Making allowances for SWST (South Western Standard Time), I arrived in Albany in time to sleep for 6 hours.
Up at 4.30 for a ride to a place called Jerramungup, then back to Mt Barker for brekky. A nice lamb pie.
Head south to Albany then towards Denmark. I was impressed with getting 457 kms from the tank. It took 27lts to fill.
Check in was at the Denmark Tavern. 25 turned out for the ride.
Three OZSTOCers took part. Noel, Ray and myself.
The rain turned up around 1300. What is it with Farrides and rain? My first ride had a storm hang around all afternoon as well.
So, Denmark to Bunbury, it rained and got colder. I have to get some heated grips.
All up mileage 1334.
Made it back to Perth with time to spare, even with time changes. :-(((

That sounds to me as bit like you might have been lucky there was only one white car on your trip. I've seen over 500 a few times with at least 2 litres remaining. Strong right wrist?
-
Well done Malcolm! Sounds like you had a great time :thumb
-
Just got home I'll post pics & such later a good time had by all 1560kms for the trip :)
-
BYW I'm Buggered & so are my tyres

I don't know if the three shirts at a farride is a record, but I don't know if we have pictures of the 3 at Nambucca Heads east #18.
-
Darn!!
FarRide East #17 had Diesel, Beatup, Biggles and tj189 on it, but we didn't know about this new Records Division so we didn't put our shirts on.
Next time we'll have Streak along as well, so there's another record that won't last. :thumbs
-
Beatup was at Nambucca heads too, so we had at least 4 shirts but no pictures. Anyway, should I help those Queenslanders (depending on what Diesel is that particular day) try to outdo a WA record :think1
-

Maaate. This isn't about Queenslanders!! It's way bigger than that! It's East vs West!
Just like the Cold War, only bigger! :popcorn
-
no no Saaz, I think it should stay FarRides record so not so much how many from a state is there, just simply how many fantastic OzSTOC members come along :thumbsup
-
Depending how things go at work over the next few weeks I may have a lot more time to go on organised rides just about anywhere, and even do a lot of rides I have always wanted to do. Ozsoc shirt for possible hire, will travel :beer
-
Another FIRST for the West. :thumb
We are a forward looking state, that is for sure.

Made it back home at last.
As usual, I went the long way to get there:

Unfortunately I won't know if I have an early leave pass from work until late March. By the time it might happen it will be closer to June. I had not realised how much works stops you doing things until I started thinking about it :think1 and I came up with better ways of coping with life :beer and getting out and about :runyay
