Title: New to me GL1800
Post by: ppopeye on February 28, 2024, 02:02:13 PM
I arrived home yesterday afternoon after riding from Bathurst on the new to me ST 1800.

I may have to add photos later due to their size. Its nice to ride and I think I like it. I will keep the ST for a while and see which I or we prefer. Hopefully with the comfy seat etc I can get Chris to ride it too.
It was a good price and in good nic. 2012  90500 km.

It came with disc pads, heated gloves, 3 jackets, 3 helmets with comms, cover, Honda bags etc

Congratulations.  Looks good and hopefully I'll get to see it at Balranald.  Did I start a new trend?  Pitmans Yamaha in Blair Athol (SA) have two for sale at the moment if anyone else is looking to jump on the bandwagon.

I'm stealing that and making it my profile picture.  The bikes need a top box though.

It needs a Goldwing pic too but that was too much effort for this little black duck...  :grin

But not for long if it sells.

In the meantime, it counts.

Will this be three bikes out the door, seems like you making space in the garage for more than a Africa Twin Transalp.

 :whistle

Above post corrected.  Plenty of space, aye!  For what else, in addition to the Transalp?

The good ol' Transalp...I remember taking one of the original V4s for a test ride way back in the day...
It's probably changed a wee bit since then...  :whistle
