I got back at 5.30 this afternoon. Great to meet Alan and Heather at last after the first go a few years ago on a Border Run. Rick and +1 (I am bad with names - on a Busa) and Malcolm we also there. Pictures will come later once I do a few things.

We got back home about 2 pm after a very windy ride.

The +1 with Rick is Michael. I did hear his name mentioned but I still had to ask Heather.

Apart from a non members red Suzi, the three STs and John's Triumph were all BLUE.  :Stirpot and more  :Stirpot , 1 from ACT, 3 from Vic and 2 from SA having an RTE overnighter in NSW with not one NSW member in sight..........lol

Heather decided that we like John's new bike even though I did sort of mention it only had 3/4 of a motor. It looks a lot better in the flesh than the pictures we have seen and it's a little larger but lighter than the ST.

Yeahhhhh... VICTORIA

The ride must now be officially known as a Victorian Ride  :Stirpot considering we had the most participants :runyay

Seriously though... It was great to catch up with you all at South Australia..(Alan & Heather) :beer

Nice read thanks Alan - sounded like a great relaxing weekend away on the bike.

That is special country out that way - probably not to be done in Jan-Feb if one is at all sensitive to the adverse effects of heat.

I remember the lookout at Mundi Mundi was quite treacherous for a big bike on that slippery gravel surface - one had to show plenty of care turning around on it  >:() - but well worth the effort.

Thanks for the great read.     ++

The only downer was after getting back home.

While unloading the trailer a gust of wind caused the lid to close in doing so broke the front hinge. So down to the hardware and see if I can find something suitable and replace both.

That's the one, and if my memory serves me right "Sargent" was the bike behind  :think1

And, the footage was from "Shiney's" bike  :think1

Sorry if I'm wrong, again.

 >:() After attending many hours of therapy and seeing a shrink specialist on numerous occasions since that eventful day, I had finally put that event behind me and 'got back on the bike' ...so to speak! I treasure the trophies that were awarded me on 'that' weekend and will treasure them as a constant reminder of the true comrade we have at the club that awarded them to me.
I would like to thank you all for your comments and I will look for the opportunity in personally thanking you at the next AGM. :Chocies
