Repco ROF 135 filter, and HPR15 15W40 Deisel (semi synthetic) cost is about $40.00.
Put bike on centre stand, have bike pointing slightly down hill if possible, aids in draining sump.
Drop bottom cowl, cover exhaust with foil ( or just wipe spilled oil with rag, and burn the rest off)
Remove drain plug at front of engine, ( place catch pan first )
Remove oil filter ( left side, above exhaust pipe) oops, oil spill :)
Wipe up oil, put a smear of oil on filter seal.
Fit filter, do it up until firm then turn another half to 3/4 turn (by hand)
Fit drain plug.
Use a funnel to get 4 litres of oil into engine
start engine, run for 5 or 10 min, stop and let oil drain back to sump ( 1 beer should be long enough)
Check oil level, ( a torch might help ) should be between lines, top up as needed.
refit bottom cowl ( clean up spills first)
Pour waste oil into empty container and leave for recycle collection.
have a shower, followed by beer.
