Arvo Guys,

Look has just occured to me this is the same weekend as the MotoGP, sooo may not be able to front for this. Will have to see as plan to be at the track Sunday. Will try still, but cannot promise.

I was thinking about my plans for the weekend... And also after reading all the latest far ride reports. I thinking I'm going to try my own personal attempt.

So depends on my bum burn situation, I may or may not stay the night.

Maryborough to Metung and back is 965km so this will be a good test for me... Wife said she should be able to sit still for that long (I said ok we'll see how you feel when we get to Metung)

As I have 2 FarRides early November, including one back down to Mallacoota, I will take this one easy. I will probably head back up the coast for the night to somewhere I have not stayed before.

May see ya's there...planning on the ride to Metung for lunch then in the arvo back to Cowes to overnite with Mates...Sunday at the track before riding back home with Baz and another Mate from Brissie late Sunday arvo. Making this plan 'D'

I'm thinking of staying at Cann River Sat nite, then up thru Canberra, Putty Rd , Thunderbolts way (I think that is what it is called), Tenterfield then on to Brissy.
That's my plan at the moment, but I'm flexible.

Heated grips work great, and I have a heated vest and good winter gloves. Final plan subject to looking at the weather. Dederang pub is booked out for an engagement party, so either somewhere else over the mountains or up the coast..win win!!

Meeting Phil, Wayne and Anne at new servo and shops, opposite old Doreen General Store, corner Bridge Inn Road & Yan Yean Road (point A on map) Saturday at 7:45am to fuel-up and for an 8:00am departure.

It is looking very good. A bit cool at the start of the day (depends where you are coming from) but great during the day. I am looking forward to a ride through some hills after going north too many times lately on straight boring roads (which I am about to do again in a few weeks!)
