but not going to Byron Bay but hope to get to a RTE soon

We looked at staying overnight in Byron.....but campsites are slim pickings and expensive

So we are booking here: https://www.northcoastholidayparks.com.au/park/info/lennox-head

20 mins down the road at Lennox Heads......$33 per night for campsite and a plethora of food options a few minutes walk along the beach strip..... we had breakfast there a couple of months ago at a beach side cafe and it's a sensational little place.
