LMAO LOL
I just called the Marnell Fuel Station in Grantham to make sure that they (a) are open Saturday and (b) have sufficient fuel (both ULP and premium (and even some Diesel for those who might want it )). The answers are; They are open until 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays, although they are happy to open up for us if we should be arriving later, and they have all three types of fuel available. They are happy that we are coming out and seem very grateful for the concept of the RTE with a stop with them to refuel. So we are good to go!!Cheers allWhizz
Can one buy a coffee in Grantham? If so, that's another way we can boost the local economy. Besides, it will definitely be "coffee-o'clock" by the time we get there.
I TAKE THAT TO INDICATEthe convenience store was washed away in the floodso they replaced it with a convenient store this time aroundprobably future proof their convenient store in case there is another flood some day

When I started with this idea and spoke to Sandi, they weren't sure if they could survive. The township was devastated as you'll see on Saturday. Many people will never return which may threaten the very existence of Grantham although they are trying to basically relocate the town to higher ground.
Oh. Whoops. My bad.
