Looks like the Nindigully pub to me which is (according to GoogleMaps) is around 30km from Thallon.  The pub at Thallon looks nothing like the pic posted.

Thallon must be of the one of the biggest little towns in QLD.  According to GoogleMaps it stretches at least 33km from the Nindigully pub in the north to the Francis pub in the south.

Wilcannia (nsw) is over 100km from west to east and a lot more than that fgrom north to south.

If you include the council area (which that map is) you can say it's a large area but the town itself is just a few square kms.
