I think I found a bit that you missed. :well :crackup
The funny thing is apart from the painted front piece ....I haven't touched (cleaned) the motor....this is what I found after removing the Tupperware .
@ 11,000 kms I did pick a winner (ex Tamworth bike)
-
The front of the motor reminds me of this ......

For Pete's sake- go and ride the thing (at the risk of getting a speck of dust on it)!!! :-(((

The amazing thing is that it's that clean without having ever cleaned it before.
Your right though, if I give it a clean during the week (every week) my bike could be that clean too :thumbs

I wanted to share the lateST .......I'm now a purple polish convert......well for now ...early days....
-
:like price? And where to buy? 😀
-
Hey Draco,
eBay has these 355ml bottles free delivery for around $25 landed ex Victoria. I checked Autobarn online and it was $29.99 inc. gst. However when I went to the STore they were $35 on the shelf......after alerting them to the error they sold it for the online price......Cheers Brian
P.S. You don't need much on the cloth and so easy to bring up to a clean chrome finish ...... Or maybe I had a relatively clean canvas to STart with.

Yea mine's 2004 model and 187,000 😀

Evening Folks
I'm seriously considering selling my shiney ST @ around $13,500.00 (18K kms) if you know of someone that may be interested.
-
But if you sell it what will you clean :eek
I know you can always clean mine :grin
But just to get a little serious, why are you selling this time, just not enjoying it as much as the other reds in the shed?

Hi Shiney,
Our situation has changed a little and the ST is not getting used so it's one of those decisions.
I've yet to put it on gumtree and or bikesales but will do over the next couple of days. I just thought who knows my bike better then you good folk here at OzSToc and thought I'd offer it up here first.
Cheers Brian
-
That doesn't sound good mate and I'm sure it wasn't an easy decision to make but I'm sure it'll find a loving home without much trouble (a STunning bike like that won't take long to sell)
All the best for an easy sale mate :thumbs

Well I finally duSTed off my STunning :13Candy and took it out about for an hour or so. Fuelled up, adjuSTed the tyre pressures then it was down to Maccas for a coffee n catch up with the Redlands Ulysses. It was good to catch up with fellow OzSTocers Royce n Denise too.
This group was off to Ninbin for lunch and although tempting, I thought I'd skip this one while I STill have the bike on the market.
JuST a heads up too....if your not riding your bike for a few weeks at a time you might want to consider putting it on trickle charge.....I got away with it (5 weeks) but I'm sure another week or two and it may well have been a different STory.
Anyhoo...I did a couple off runs over weST mount Cotton rd then it was back home again.
Enjoy your day whatever your doing
Cheers Brian

the lawyers keep telling me not to be so aggresive as it juST pisses off the assessor and they will keep holding off as long as they can, so I've really had to bite my tongue,, which is very hard for me to do.. I muST refrain from contacting, Sunsuper, myself, for my own good,, all other advice is to shut up and be patient.

Oh No!! It looks like she's been ridden. :fp
-
Of coarse :-((( in fact I went through a shower of rain and my ShinieST of ST's has juST clicked over 19,000 kms on today's morning jaunt :rockon :hatwave
-
And yes it has been washed, dried and put back under its protective cover o:)

:thumbsup :thumbs :clap
-
I don't normally subscribe to riding in 38* heat only I haven't taken my Shiney ST out for a squirt in about two weeks. I can see the appeal to weekday riding where the mountain roads aren't that busy with traffic.
-
Only a cool 38 compared to my unplanned 40 plus ride from home to the Riverland to pick Heather up on Wednesday. Started out in the car and 80km later the exhaust pipe parted company with converter thing so I went back home and took the bike. Instead of a cool air con drive I had a hot air con ride; northerly tailwind was good for the economy but not so good for keeping cool. Coming back the next day we had rain for the first 60 km so balances out in the end.
-
Well folks, deposit taken, new owner taking delivery of my Shiniest of ST's on Thursday, it's time for me to sign off from my little but popular post.

Talking to the different STealerships there continues to be a minimum 6month wait on orders placed last year.
I found a Nov '16 built , 1/17 compliance (4kms) in the right livery in a lil place called Cooma. Saw it on Carsales Tuesday, due diligence done it will be on transport next Tuesday to arrive on my driveway before the 9th March.
Love it when the planets align......
-
Looks great mate :thumbsup 8)
But I can't wait to see how ORSM and Shiney it looks when YOU have had a chance to clean it WOW:
I look forward to checking it out at an RTE some time :thumbs

Cooma is only 100 kms from my place. I could collect it and drive it to Brisbane for you. It would only take about 10 hours in that beast.

I am aSTonished how some people who work in the logiSTics induSTry with preSTige vehicles can be so disrespectful..... :eek
