No bloody gear would save you from that one.  He should have ridden properly across it Abe.  Difference between a steerer and a rider.

Too busy looking important to look at the road.     :eek
He only just missed carrying his bike for a few metres.
The distance he travelled after leaving the bike shows how much energy has to be dissipated if you come off even at what looks like about 60 kph.
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

Your right there Biggles, very close to carrying a heavy bike, and the back of his head hitting the road, ouch.  But the pay out from the boys in the locker room "priceless".

Lucky he dosen't work in Queensland, he'd be sacked for that........ Campbell Soup trying to make room in the Police/Firefighter Service or who ever we turn out to be. Will we be Firlice or Polfighters? The merger of the Fire Service into the Police is being proposed.......

I suppose we'll be able to repond to the Fire, put it out, conduct the Investigation and go and arrest the guy....  If corretive Services are joined to then we'll also be able to lock him up and watch him for a few years....

Someone's lost the plot in the Sunshine State........
