The Big Knitting Needles - Hay Shearers Hall of Fame

That is my 100th Big Thing photo.   :runyay

Good stuff! Except that it’s not an ST, and it’s not even ‘in front’ of the big thing. Well not from where the camera sits anyhow.   :grin

The bike (GhoST) is in front of the Big Knitting Needles while the camera is behind them.    So it is an ST of sorts, and it is in front of them.

Of course. Silly me !
A man rides on his STeed, says “Why am I short of attention? Got a short little span of attention”.

You can call me Steve, with apologies to Paul Simon.

I'd better get this one up before Gaz gets out this way this weekend. Or is it already up? I know the one at Ballina is.

Yeah- I looked it up after I left Ozstoc forum last night.  We saw that thing on the pole and thought it was some sort of nut.    :crazy

Dang if you're not right again.  This was as close as I could get with the locals wanting to park near their pink pengy.

A farmer has a Big Motorbike near his gate on the south side of the highway east of the township of Rocky Point.  It was too hard to stop to get it with my long-suffering pillion on board.

I would have loved to get the Big Tassie Devil properly. Mrs Biggles had "Had Enough" after walking at Crater Mountain in the morning and the Mole Creek Caves in the arvo.  I considered putting the side stand down but the shoulder is sloping gravel- impossible even if The Bride wasn't on the bike and "not getting off", so here's the best I could do.  Please feel free to go get the real shot, Gaz.

And then there was the Big Swarm of Bees.  All the same conditions applied...     :||||

So when you're down Chudleigh way, Gaz, do us all a favour.

Hahaha , forgot all about the big devil . Great ride from Cradle , through Cethana up and over Mount Round to Mole Creek.

Look what Mrs Biggles suffers so you can see these Big Things!    :grin
She doesn't like the feeling the bike will fall over. This was a rare location that has hard level ground for the sidestand.  I was enroute to the Devonport Airport with her.  She'd just been shopping at the Chocolate and Cheese Factories, and with every other space chockers, had to carry her shopping in that red bag.
So, at last- The Big Potato at Sassafras, TAS.
