I was on the yahoo group and just kept on gravitating across to the new setups (so which option should I vote for?). As the yahoo group was a bit limiting for discussion and distributing information (still learnt a lot that was more specific to Australia, and met many people I still keep in contact with), I was active on my-mc, st-owners and st-riders (and still check in every now and again)I found OzSTOC when it was still the old yahoo group via the American ST Owners website, some fellow called diesel told me about it on the forum there and well the rest is history....
How did you come to join OzSTOC?
Vote and tell us how you came to be part of this fantastic club of Honda ST Owners :thumb
We would really appreciate everyone's votes and feedback as it will be a guide to what is most successful for us :thumbsup
Dont really remember how I found OzSTOC, it may have been STOC USA or word of mouth. But here I am.I remember telling AVTrician a few times to check out the Yahoo email site - just didn't expect him to bring quite as big a stick with him!!!!
wrist resulting in a reputation ( good or bad ...not sure)
By coincidence I bumped into one of the early villians at a Macca's today...it was really good to see Mark again....he has moved on to a new Beemer GS1200. But the funny thing was he introduced me to his mate as ' The fastest guy he has ever seen riding an ST' Hillarious!! 1st impressions :rofl
And that Dayboro pub meeting. Was honoured to be there. Teela was there too.
And wasn't that where Tipsy got his name? :crackup
Streak & Diesel dragged me over from the US site, then as a few may remember I chucked my toys outa the pram a while ago & I'm sorta back. There are a lot of good people here many who I'm lucky to be able to call friends so thanks to you all

Ciao, the can :-)
Card left of my bike at the Garage Strathalbyn. Been on the STOwners site for a number of years. Wish I had sound OZStoc earlier. Good on whoever put the card on my bike.Ahh, that would be me. I was over there for the VJMC National rally and spotted your bike with no sticker on it. Did a few others on my travels too.
Now I know who to thank when we catch up. Hope you had a good trip. We had a great trip in 2012 spending 2 weeks to get to Tamworth to see the Powerhouse MotorCycle Museum and visit all the places we had only previously down shifted to pass through. Was a great experience. Look forward to catching up with you sometime soon.Card left of my bike at the Garage Strathalbyn. Been on the STOwners site for a number of years. I am surprised that as many as 33 current members claim to have been members from the original OzSTOC/Yahyoo group.
My first activity with the original group was a weekend get together in the Bunya Mountains, organised by Barry (Gold Coast). I rode up from Canberra, Ross and his wife Julie (not current members) from Newcastle and Laurie from the Northern Rivers district. The others were from the Brisbane area.
Later on I met Greencan, Pat (not a current member), Saaz and STroppy at one of the early Snowy rides.
We actually first met up going to meet Barry bringing his first BMW LT1200 back from Melbourne. I met Terry first at a local Madbikers ride.I am surprised that as many as 33 current members claim to have been members from the original OzSTOC/Yahyoo group.

I found Ozstoc when the Kawasaki dealership around the corner from my house suddenly folded. I bought my bike and had it serviced there and wanted to know why. A google search brought me to this forum and a thread devoted said store's demise. I wanted to write a reply so registered for the forum. By my own admission I didn't know what an ST was and had to google further to answer anti bot/spammer questions to register for the site. By this time I had forgotten what I wanted to write in said thread but started to read other threads in the forum and RTE's in South Australia and decided to get involved. The rest they say is history.
I now check for unread topics and messages before I check for emails & social media accounts :grin
