Clutch hose
« on: January 11, 2016, 07:59:08 AM »
Has anyone here replaced their clutch hose with an aftermarket item?. I ordered a new OEM hose from the local dealer but am getting tired of waiting, its been quite a while. So, any recommendations?

You'd think we'd know by now, but humour us- ST1100 or 1300?

Try these guys, this is the online Aussie store and they claim 1 to 2 days delivery.

http://www.helperformance.com.au/hel-clutch-line-for-honda-st1100-pan-european-1989-2003.html

They seem to be a very popular aftermarket item overseas and the prices here are very similar to the English ebay prices.

Morning.
Out of interest. I looked up the 1300 on the recommended site. While the clutch line for the 1100 was $65, the brake line for the 1300 was $899. It there really that much difference between a clutch line and a brake line?

Dont need them at the moment but not looking forward to the day I do!!

cheers
Troy

The brake line at that price is for a full set for  ABS front and rear ( 15 lines ). They are also available as separate items, but you would probably have to ring them.

Would have thought posting question in ST1100 section would have been a clue ;-*
