NSW Newbie ST Owner
« on: August 07, 2012, 09:48:21 PM »
Howdy :hatwave

Firstly, great to see such a personally run little club.

A credit to you all as it appears to have a warm family feel to it.

Recently upgraded to an ex-police ST1100 from a Suzuki Bandit 1200

Previous bikes - GN 250, Bouldor 900, FZR 250, V-Star 1100 Custom, CB 750 and GSF1200

Look forward to catching up on a ride someday.

Cheers,

Robert.

Robert, Welcome to the loonie bin, it really does help to be nuts here!

Bike colour is really irrelevant, they are great no matter what colour they are (although the Red ones are definitely that little bit quicker!!)  :rofl :crackup

Welcome Robert.
White definitely commands a bit more attention.  I see more manufacturers are offering white as an option, e.g. Ducati.
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

Welcome Robert, you'll find great stuff on the forum.  I'll be traveling through Young on the way to Grenfell this weekend (quick trip). If I do remember right white is not a colour, but it doesn't matter least it is an"ST".
cheers  :dred11

Vega, White is defined as a colour, it is an amalgamation of all the colours. It's black that isn't a colour, it is an absence of colour.   :wink1

Whizz has been taking his smart pills.  He's absolutely right!  Black absorbs light whereas white reflects the whole spectrum of visible light.
Use a prism to see all your colours again.    :grin

Tony's right - he knows a great little bakery in town that's worth a stop at!        :wink1

Welcome aboard Sarg!  (or as it is now - ROOMMATE!)

Thanks for the offer. It'll be great to put more faces to names out there in the wild blue yonder.

Thanks for the nice, warm intro, and we'll see ya at Inverell!

Cheers, Diesel

That right there is my biggest weak spot, I just love bakery's.

Clocked quite a few k's up on my V-Star when i lived at Coffs Harbour a while back. Back then it was just me and my bitch "Misty". Used to ride to Dorrigo most weekends Grab me a meat pie and vanilla slice  :eat and if the bitch had behaved on the way up a sausage roll treat was sure in order.  Mmmmm just gotta love that fresh bakery smell.

(the bitch in question was of course a Sheltie)
Thats a miniture or half sized Lassie Dog.
