Easy fixed, dont try reaching up to the top shelf while riding..   o:) o:)

After you get the bike back of course.

Or stand on the bike so you don't have to reach so far.

For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

On a serious note, i hope this is only a minor set back Leo. As frustrating as it may seem, it will only make your first ride that much more enjoyable  :thumb

Please explain
I have to be able to reach up to climb up the ladder on to the locomotive and at this stage my arm above shoulder height is not very strong and stable.
With help from the physio we are working on it. It is a slow progress
But now the hernia opp has set the arm back a bit as I have to careful not to strain it
I can't lift anything heavier than a stubby for the first 2 weeks

Nothing like giving the mechanics advice while exercising the stubby arm :-)

Hope the docs/physio get you sorted with a minimum of discomfort & down time.

Ps: if you need anything sorted at home give me a holler, not far away after all :-)

After all this time my ST1300 all fixed and home in my shed  :eek
Looks like they did a good job, not that was much to do
They just took forever to do it
A mate helped out and rode it home for me, but sitting on it feels like I will not have a problem with my arm which is far from full strength
At this stage I start back at work on the 5th February, but I will have to be assessed before I can start back

Keep going at the rehab and exercises, and I'm sure you'll regain more strength, and I sure hope your head is in the right place to ride again.

Pete rehab coming along slowly I'm back swimming in the pool 3 times a week which is good
Not all swimming a bit of walking and climbing up and down the ladder to help with strengthening arm to climb up on locomotive at work. It is sore after each workout but they say "No pain no gain" then I got a 20 workout I do at home 2-3 times a day

I will also have to do a assessment before returning to work
