I'm planning:

HID headlights
Aux driving lights
Need to fit my video camera
Motorcycle FM radio
Might get one of those SPOT thins in the future if I start riding in some of the more remote areas
And I need to figure something out to be able to make use of the space where the pillion seat would be.

I've all ready upgraded the seat to a Saddlemen gel seat and I made up a goat skin seat cover to go over that. Comfy..lol
Now have a 10cm taller slightly tinted screen.

On the list are :

Shelf for dash (for hardwired Strike GPS and camera mount)
Police light mounting brackets so I can relocate driving lights
Cruise Control but throttle lock is ok until then
Battery charging wiring for battery in trailer.
Speakers for helmet as ear plugs are pain.

plus non OEM items

Progressive Rear Shock (next on to do list list after timing belt change)
Progressive front shocks (do them when fork seals need replacing again)
Considering a change of colour or at least a respray in original colour.
Upgraded exhaust system when original needs replacing

Added

Forgot mention that I all ready have towbar, trailer, rear rack and Rjays topcase.

I will be putting on some reflective panels on the Paniers. Black that reflect white. Just as soon as they arrive.

Wait, there is the Posty now, looks like I fit em tonight.

Photos later.

Thanks for sending them so quickly Peter.

I am interested in those so would be interested how they go on the ST11 as the surfaces on the rear panniers are a bit different to the ST13.

Pictures will be posted.
These are black panels, designed for the White ST1100PY. They wont be visible in daylight, but will blow white under headlights (or flash)

The panels are being fitted now, My Son does this stuff for a living, so if it gets stuffed up its his fault. :rofl :rofl

The quality of the shaping was excellent, and the kit also contained rubber (surgical) gloves and a plastic scraper / applicator. These have been specifically made for the police ST1100 to go on the black bits..

No body ran into the back of me on the way to work this morning, so either they did the job, I was riding to fast for the cars to get me or both.. :grin :grin :grin

They arent overpowering, and the bit I really like is that they dont stand out in daylight

So far, my list is:

Heated Grips
Bar risers
GPS mount
2-way radio mount
Radiator guard
Reflective panels (well whaddya know :grin :grin)
Headlight protector
Air Hawk X 2
Knee guards

My wish list could go for pages...

What did surprise me, and I don't know if it's standard on ST1300's, but while rummaging through the right fairing pocket last week, I came across a cigarette lighter power outlet.
Do they all have this?

It's not rocket surgery to install one.  You buy them at Autobarn etc for a few bucks and run a 16g or 18g wire via a 10A fuse from your choice of hot battery or switched source.  Get one with a plastic cap to keep out unwanted intrusions.  IIRC it's a 7/8" hole drilled in the back of the pocket of your choice (I went with lockable left).  It takes up no space in the pocket.  Brock will check my numbers for us.
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott
