Nice one Pete what's the beam angle pattern classified as on those ?? Normally rated in degrees
I can't find the beam angle quoted in any of the spec docs I have, but Abe's directed you to a graphic. I saw them demonstrated in a darkened workshop and liked the even spread and intensity of the light, so I ordered a pair.
On my second run through the Adelaide Hills, and after adjusting the elevation and direction of the beams, I found that they light up the roadsides, and the road ahead, with a lovely flat, even illumination, and give at very least 50 meters more penetration than my H4 55/60 High Beams, and with a much wider spread. They won't singe the fur from the kangaroos at 400 meters, but are an exponential improvement over OEM lights. I like the compact size, which I see as a balance between compact form and useful function. The 6,500k light is a little whiter than I would have liked, but I can live with it.
I've altered this review after adjusting the elevation and direction of the lights. I've picked up a bit more penetration.
