Not too many scam phone calls or emails lately, maybe they all have covid?

Had an 'Overseas' call a few minutes ago to break the boredom, picked up the phone, put it next to the speaker and hit 'Play' on this desktop file.

Was a bloke squatting on the footpath this afternoon, between Woolies and the Reject Shop and holding a paper cup in his hand.

A bloke walking past reached into his pocket, and dropped a few coins into the cup.

Fella on the ground was really pissed off when the coins splashed his coffee everywhere.

Hey Paul... so much for your couple of mm of mist the other day, we have had 4 mm of rain in the last half hour, with possibly 40mm expected for tonight/tomorrow.
Even the neighbours ducks are carrying umbrellas!

Now 7mm here as of a half hour ago at 7pm.

Update 11pm. rain eased as of 30 mins ago.
I now have 17mm in the rain gauge

Update on my buddy in hospital after suffering a mild stroke.

He is getting on well, but small steps towards recovery.
He said that they wanted him to try feeding himself today using his left hand only.
Has poor muscle control on his left side, with jerky motions.
Apparently he flicked food on the staff, the wall, his shoulder, and then stuffed peas up his nose.

Needs some more training yet.

More rain kicked in around 1am, 20 mm in the gauge now.
Much heavier to the north and east of here, with 53mm at Warrnambool from 7pm to 2am this morning.

A slight mist around The Alice since 9am yesterday, with 0.2mm recorded.
I raise more steam in the kitchen sink than that.

Rain has eased off in the past 45 minutes, only light now but still heavy clouds, rain pattern seems to be circling, centred offshore to the west of Millicent.
