After doing the Crocman LED turn signal farkle I thought I should update my headlight globes to 60/55 ordered a pair on eBay for a grand total of $3.98 delivered from Hong Kong they seem much brighter and whiter than the originals yet to test at night , can't complain about the price
Pic is low beam and a bit brighter than real life

Saw crocman's indicator/DRL setup working again at Lennox Head and the whole group of us were impressed at how great they look and operate. Riding down to this RTE, I had a line of bikes stretching 400m behind me - there was absolutely no mistaking which one was George! :thumbs
Awesome mate! :thumb

I tried the cheaper ones but they didn't last long so I use these now http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/190866023954?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/190866023954?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT) for not much more cost than two standard globes from the local garage etc.
I like the concept LED set up etc. but I prefer the amber lens over the clear one.

So far so good Alan with these globes and I have the old ones as spares, I guess I could upgrade to LED but no need as I don't ride at night .
I have a set of a MCL under light brackets and a beaut set of LED combined spot/ flood that i had on a ST1100 , I must get around to fitting one day .

Awesome stuff :thumbsup

And thanks for sharing :hatwave
So, Shiney & Draco this seems like a good "how to do" ;-*
Crocman has anything changed with this mod. or would you do anything different.
Thinking about doing this mod

This mod is still the same simple and easy with the bonus of only a few $ everything is still working fine no issues the only thing i would do would maybe hot glue the relays inside the mirrors of use better 3m double sided Tape. I believe this is a must have mod the safety daytime running lights really stands out from a fair distance safety safety safety i sure everyone that seen me sitting back in 5th or 6th place on a ride can verify that i am now easily to be seen.

I love this mod, it makes the bike stand out so much more.
When looking at a ST with this mod following behind or coming towards me I have found it to be a lot easier to judge (at a glance) how far away they are 👍
And it looks AWESOME :grin
