I bought a new bike at team moto last week, happy with the bike, happy with the deal. I also ordered a rack and bag for the bike at the same time.
The rack and bag havnt turned up, it was couriered to the wrong address, then apparently sent to the post office, and is now apparently being returned to the dealer so that they can express post it to me.....which is what they should have done in the first place.
This is why people buy online instead of from Australian businesses.

Got to agree with you on that Laurie and cost to the hip pocket my theory is if australian businesses support my wallet I'll support them but when I can buy cheaper O/S with the cost of freight included then I go for it.

What I would have done Laurie because of the mix up was have them install the goods at their expense instead of waiting for the delivery to your home.

The dealer is about 180ks from home. Its not worth the effort to ride up to install a ventura rack and bag. Its a ten minute job that i would rather do myself. Will wait and see what happens.

Sorry not a fan of that STealership

I'll second that, although I have not dealt with accessories, just parts and in particular servicing. Extremely bad attitude.

I was quite satisfied with the way things went with the bike purchase, they were friendly and helpfull as you would expect when handing over a large chunk of money on a new bike. Hopefully they can get the rack and bag to me without further delay.
I,d forgotten how limiting it can be on a bike with zero luggage space. STs do spoil you a bit....

Well you will all notice that I have only mentioned the Manager of Accossories and have never had the ST or any bike serviced there. I only know how you will be treated by Michelle Crocker. New Manager of that department and a lovely person with it. Will do what she can to make dealing with her section a pleasurable one.

For servicing you could try across the road with Graham at the Triumph part. Yes they do service other brands. All the dealerships have their targets so will do what they can to keep the customer happy.

The rack and bag arrived today, seems the problem lay with the courier company. Anyway its now fitted, looks as ugly as a bucket full of bums but I have somewere to put stuff.
