Go to the garage and strip down the bike.....sooo many screws and clips just to install a rad guard...

Thankfully, the 'Wing doesn't need one.

Hey Brian, next time you are in Adelaide and it's raining, you can stay at my place. :beer My bike needs a clean. :grin
-
I think I've missed something here... No one else seems to think it's odd, but...
There's a red ST1300 in your shed, Brian??
-
Nope nothing odd here o:)
-
Hmmm. It's got that impossibly clean look commonly associated with bikes you own...
Could it be you're a recidivist?
-
Anythings possible......

Jeez mate looks like a 2016 model!

What to do when it's not the best riding weather
We get bloody wet, thats what we do!!!!!!! :well :well
Weather changed yesterday, and it bucketed down just as I left work for home. Left leg was so wet, the water ran down the leg and into my new waterproof Rossi boots. They aint so waterproof when it gets in the hole at the top..
"Shoulda put on the wets you say!! " Dont need em, cos its summer, it was 34 the day before.
:o :o :o

Yeah, we get that over this side, too. A couple of hot days then a cracker storm that might make the next day a wet one.
Shoulda put on the wets.

Shoulda put on the wets
Thats just it, didnt use em all winter, so put em away for the summer....
Ah well, only 3.5 weeks till holidays..

Not in wet wet Thailand, I hope!

My theory is I don't leave home on the bike if it's raining or looking like raining (wet season we get bloody big rain drops, they hurt even on a fully faired bike like the ST). Don't mind so much riding home in the rain because I get the chance to get dried and changed when I get there. Rarely bother with wet weather gear, you sweat too much and get almost as wet as the rain would make you.... :H

Well said WendyL. My sentiments exactly,
Philbo

Have to agree with you Wendy having lived in Katherine and Darwin I know all about the rain and yes you get wetter with wets on at least without wets you get a chance to dry out a bit between the dops.

I think Brian should do a tour around the membership and show us all how to clean our STeeds, with a practical demonstration of course. :Stirpot

I was wondering what "when it's not the best riding weather" is as I don't recall hearing of any winds of cyclonic force or torrential rainfall in the Brisbane area lately. :Stirpot
-
I see a common denominator with you two stirrers :bl11

How about a "Cleaning your ST" workshop at a National Rally.
