i was sad i missed the RTE yesterday, but i had cricket with my kids, so i headed out today and had a great morning out with the Australian V-Stroms Group at Flavours Cafe Boonah, with 15 people showing up, with most knowing each other and a few like me, not a bloody clue who anyone is....
Everyone had a good time, food and coffee was fantastic as always, I was also give a Driving light bracket one of the Stromtroopers made for me (who i am embarrassed to say i cannot remember his name)
it was interesting that the Strom Group works very similarly to OzSTOC, as there event organisation, and leadership is very much like ours, casual with basic structure, and they work their events the same with a location provided, with very little group riding, their national gathering is in South Australia this year....

I had a great day, 300km rolled, on the way to Boonah from Toowoomba, I took every backroad i could find via Ma Ma creek and Rosewood (Ride Map https://goo.gl/maps/oVj6Nc3UQKN2 (https://goo.gl/maps/oVj6Nc3UQKN2))

I am getting to know my V-Strom heaps better now, and am easily doing 150km-200km blocks without a break now, and I am really comfortable with the swap from the ST1300 to the DL650.
