If it was raining, I was there. Actually it wasn't too bad but we did stay on an extra day to do a day trip on the water on the Monday on the big purple cat 'Camira'. Awesome day.

I worked 8.00 PM Friday night till 6.00 AM this morning, I grabbed 3 Hrs sleep and got up got ready and headed down to the lovely little town of Laidley  to QzSTOC RTE at the Queensland National Hotel
Heading down the Toowoomba range I turned off at Helidon and went through Gatton, Forrest Hill and arrived Laidley at 11.40
Soon everyone started to turn up.
After a bit of a chat we headed inside for Lunch, we had a corner set aside for us thanks to Shiney for organising it all
I ordered an open beef burger Egg and chips on the side (sorry no photo). I mingled around till my burger was cooked
Washing it down with a beer (only one)
Chatted some more till everyone finished eating, then we headed outside to look over everyone bikes. royst1100 new CTX1300 was a bit of a hit
Shiney rounded everyone up for a group photo so that everyone could go on their way home
I rode back to Toowoomba with Tim (tding). I think a great day was had by all

had a great day. left home at 7.40 am as I first went to watch grandson play soccer (lost but they played well for 6 yr old's) at Jimboomba. so! with to much time on my hands through Beaudesert, Boonah, Rosewood to Laidley at 11.50 am. quick chat then of to do part two and eat a great opened beef and egg sandwich (got forgotten as usual) with more chatting. went outside to do more chatting, photo's and finally a farewell was said then back home via Ipswich, Logan Express Way and home by 4.00 pm with 320 kl put onto the CTX1300. my CTX1300 was of interest and inspected by all with many questions. anyway straight home of an 1 hr 40 min no stopping (not even red lights when ass was getting sore  :cuss ). the 19 ltr fuel tank wasn't a problem as estimated 100 kl's left (that's another approximately an hour in the saddle). the more kl's I put on her the more I love the CTX1300
