Can't make this one unfortunately. Ride safe for any of you chaps that are planning to go over Mt G to get to Esk. With the forecast winds and rain on Saturday the road will likely be a mess. The upside being you'll likely also have it all to yourself  :grin

Well the trip over Glorious wasn't. There was debris all over the road, leaf litter, broken branches, gravel, mud, rocks. A couple of fallen trees onto the guard rails just clear of the fog line (safety lane making).

The temp got down to 9 °C at 9 O'clock coming down the western side of Mt Glorious.

Pulled into Esk at 10:00 with a couple of bikes already there STraya and DJW.

Soon after Diesel, Shiney, Draco and a few others arrived. While we were chatting we watched Justin and his wife cruise past woke we waved frantically. Eventually they found us.

Good coffee, food and companionship was had, oohhs and aahhs exchanged over farkles and photos taken.

I decided to do Mt Glorious on the return journey because All Wheel drive has its advantages. I was surprised how little rubbish was left on the road after only 4 hours. There was either a street sweeper over the mountain or a lot of traffic.
