Sad to say that I wont be able to have the pleasure of the ride, nor your company for this weekend. Have to run some very crucial tests that weekend, with no excitement or travel, have a low heart rate need to find out whats happening.................Have fun.. :wht11 :cussHope all goes well

I've booked a cabin at the parkI booked an unpowered site for the tent so I better start sorting the trailer out before I forget.
Thinking of doing a run along the coast down to Cann River and across the bay at Sorrento

Generally in SA we only have few turn up and don't bother organising accommodation in a specific area. In the past most of us turned up late afternoon (Sat) on overnighters, organised your accommodation, had a bit of chat, went for the meal and a chat after. After returning to accommodation we have coffee/tea etc. in someone's cabin for an hour or so before bedding down for the night.
The next day nothing is usually planned but sometimes we've had coffee etc. at the local café before going our own ways. Depending on distance to home most of us want to get back before dark to avoid the wildlife at night so by 9 or 10 am we're all gone.
Heather will want to try some fishing while were there so maybe after lunch we'll be gone as well.

Sorted the trailer this morning; nearly that is. Managed to squeeze in Heather's rod diagonally in the trailer.Heather found her collapsible rod that fitted in better.
Other than that we're just about ready to roll. I plan to tryout some different camera mount locations on the trailer now that I can control the cam via the phone on the dash shelf. Only planned stops are Murray Bridge for fuel (there and back), photo at Kingston S.E. (we have two Kingston in SA) and Cape Jaffa on the return trip.
Weather forecast for Robe seems ok for the weekend but we might get a shower or two of rain.

Sort of put the wrong fuel in the bike. Put in PULP (premium) instead of ULP. Took a few minutes to figure why the ULP was $1.13 a litre on the sign board and the pump said $1.25. Trust BP to have yellow for premium and not yellow like Shell does. Not a big issue.

I got home at 1.00pm, good leisurely ride via the Coorong & across the punt at Wellington.

It a wonder the bike would run Alan seeing how you never put that stuff in it normallyBeen there before though normally by choice. Usually at United where the E10 (94 Ron) is cheaper than ULP.

Sorry there's no flag for this as I forgot to get it from Peter.
Most of us stopped at the caravan park and two stopped at the hotel (STroppy and Chops). John bought four friends along which accounted for at least two of the beemers one of which was ex SAPOL.
We all got together at the hotel about 6pm with those of us from the caravan park walking the 5 or 10 minutes it took. It was about 7pm before the food was delivered and about 9:30 when most of us that stayed in the park left. Heather and I stayed for a free coffee with Chops and Stroppy and wandered back to the park a little later.
Note the cam was still on summer time when I took these so take of an hour from the time print.

After getting back to the park we had to finish making the bed up: Pete was still up as it was to early for him and me so we gas bagged while Heather tried to sleep. Music from a dance down in town was a bit noisy and kept her awake so Pete gave her some ear plugs.

Thanks Alan. It sounds like a missed a wonderful gathering. :'(None that I could see. I think garfish was the main seafood item other than maybe squid (calamari) or prawns on the menu.
