After some trial and lots of error I now have farkles for my feet. :thumbs

Ohh........Ohh now I see, the fark"l"ing husband. :nahnah
Well done to the farkling husband :-++

They look great, and will be fantastic for the long trip to the west. Perhaps you could provide some technical details of what you have fitted. Chris often complains of hot feet and some decent pillion footboards may just be the answer. :thumbsup

Very nice. Best not show my wife.

Yes that's the idea, bit more comfort. As for the technical stuff they are from a 2006 Su..su..su..zuki (that took some writing) Boulevard. The boards are 50mm higher than original pegs and I am able to move my feet out into clean air. I just have more options with boards. Went for a ride this pm and I was very happy with them.
Peter is a clever little farkler. :Blow

Great ride this weekend. Headed down to jackagdery for o/ night then on to Grafton and Lawerence following the Clarence Rv. From there it was back on Summerland Way and on up to Kyole and then through Chillingham and Murwillumbah for an o/night at Jacobs Well. We travelled through some beautiful countryside and great roads. The first 10 km from Kyogle to Murwillumbah were pretty rough but the rest was great. We hit the road again today and headed home. All up 900 Kms round trip and my foot boards were GREAT.

I liked the look of these when Pete showed me on the weekend, I might have to get Chris motivated to look at these for my short little legs :nahnah

Hi, I *really* want some too! I have a bad hip which gets very painful on long trips using the existing pillion footpegs. Higher pegs would solve the problem, and larger footboards would prevent sore feet too. Mr Scarlett Thunderbolt is willing, but needs a bit more info. Where did you buy them, and how much were they? Do you have any original packaging, or a part number? Did you have to modify the part to fit it to the ST, and if so, what was needed? I'd be really grateful for any help!

I found the boards at a motorcycle repair shop (painter panel beater type) they where on a 2006 Suzuki Boulevard all I had to do to fit them was to extend the male mounting block by 6mm the hole for the mounting pin is larger but with the 6mm extension on the back bottom edge of the mounting block the boards sit in the correct position the boards are adjustable forward / backwards and toe up heal down or heal up toe down
we will be at Nambuca so you can have a look at them in the flesh there would be no hassle to fit them to your bike for a test run
I believe they would be OEM boards but they had been welded to the mounting brackets on the dona bike as well as pined
hope this helps
The farkling husband

Thanks so much for this. We won't have Scarlett with us at Nambucca, but I'll look forward to taking a look at what you've got and working out what we'll need to do.
