I will be Anzacing in Hellfire Pass Kanchanaburi  ( near bridge over River Kwai ) this year. It will mean leaving the house at 0200 inorder to be there in time for the dawn service.

I went there for the dawn service a couple of years ago. The place was packed.

A good read is the Weary Dunlop story, available on kindle.
