That reminds me of a trip home from tweed via numinbah valley ...... I left a little late and by the time I got to the valley view cafe I had to stop at the hall and clean off my visor and h/ light with both covered in bugs.
In hindsight I should've taken the highway but then I'd miss my twisties.

:think1 If you change your screen to a bike quip screen you dont get that problem as the top lip moves the airflow up and over your helmet by about a foot. :thumb Makes for a lot cleaner and happier pillion too :thumbs

Many years ago (early 70's) my mate Jeff and I rode through a swarm of locusts as we approached the gold coast from the west.
Got totally plastered in bugs!
When we reached Surfers, we headed for the first car wash we could find. One of those auto ones with the brushes.
We dropped our visors, and walked the bikes through! Damn, but those brushes slapped us around?
... and the hot water down the back of the neck caused a few expletives as well!
At least the bikes, helmets, and our leathers were clean again, tho!
