LOTS OF ROAD GRIME OVER TIME??
I was looking at the rims of my steed and noticed how dirty they were and no matter how much I scrubbed and rubbed they wouldn't come clean. :think1
NOW FROM THIS.....

Looking fantastic mate! :thumbsup
Agree, he can come and do mine as my wheels usually only get cleaned when they come for a tyre change. Though I have been known to clean them at other times.
-
Car Polish, or Bug and Tar Remover also do a pretty fair job of getting the crap off rims.

A previous owner skimmed the paint off the flat sections of my rims so they are bare alloy, makes them a pain in the arse to keep clean. I'm looking at getting them soda blasted and powdercoated the original colour. Probably cost a few bucks but at least I won'thave to poish them.

:blu13 Mine haven't been cleaned for a long time, so the grime has really built up, so i'm just bringing them back to original condition (gently) The degreaser dissolves all the grime so eventually you can just wipe it off then they will be done everytime the bike is washed :grin :blu13left : :like

One of those other times happened today - both wheels done plus a touch up in the polish department for the plastic. Heather wants to know whose bike is parked in the drive-way. I used a house old cleaning paste on mine - Gumption from most supermarkets etc. http://www.cleanx.com.au/buy/gumption-multi-purpose-paste-500g-tub/CCCGPC (http://www.cleanx.com.au/buy/gumption-multi-purpose-paste-500g-tub/CCCGPC)

Food for thought.......I bought a ZZR250 in prity poor condition for Caroline to learn on...yup you guessed it ...I had to give it a dolly up..... You may want to consider , getting back on topic 'rims', getting them polished and have the spokes painted in ST13 blue and have the whole rim clear coated.

Hi mate,
If you Google Wurth's it should giv you the suppliers. In Brisbane we have an outlet on Beaudesert Road, Acacia Ridge. Other cities not sure of. You could call Super Cheap, Autobarn or Repco to see if they stock or can source. It comes in 5 litre drum and can be broken down with water depending on the application requirements.
