Title: Wanted - MCL RAM Ball Reservoir Cover
Post by: StinkyPete on March 19, 2016, 01:52:04 PM

As part of tidying up my cockpit, I would like to remount my CB radio using one of MCL's Reservoir Covers with single end RAM Ball mount. The link above shows the item.    Do you have one that is excess to your needs, or do you wish to share in the postage costs from MCL and buy something as part on an order?

How about this one - mounts on top of the OEM cover

Do these fit the 1100 as well?  I could very well be interested in sharing postage too.

This matter has been finalised with a joint order submitted for reservoir covers for WendyL, West Aussie Glen and myself.

Shipping to Australia was $40 USD, which was shared among the three of us.    If we had ordered individually the shipping total would have been $40x3 or $120 USD, so we saved a fair bit.   ++
Aussie local postage to send two of the covers to Darwin was $8.50 including an AustPost padded envelope, but the package took two weeks to arrive and we were beginning to think that it went astray.

That's just Aust Post going via China first as I've found out every time I order anything fromqld or nsw it always ends up going to Adelaide first for some reason. :dred11 :think1 :think1

I ordered some gear a few weeks back and it took three weeks to get to Adelaide from Brisbane.  With service like this Aust post will not be with us for much longer.
