Our neighbour has decided to replace the fencing and it's been happening for the last two days. They've left our side until today but most of the front section was pulled off yesterday afternoon and because of the dogs doing the back yard today. We've taken the best of the old fencing sheets to improve our makeshift fence to keep the dogs in the back yard.
If you notice the fence posts are rail off cuts then you're not wrong as most of the older fencing in town used the off cuts for posts. So if you're going run off the road into some ones yard you need to check the fence first.

Alan,
It seems that u might not quite realise the importance of your & neighbours' border agreement.
4 1 thing u need an "iron-clad" agreement 2 provide security & confinement for your per"pet"ual family members, ie, "dogs". Don't b "de-railed" in2 thinking that all will b ok unless u "hound" your neighbours 2 keep "on track" with inno"fence"ive border-line agreements.
That's "the-ticket!". :hatwave

Back yard completed and up to the back of the car - we asked for some of the old wood but that's a no, however, it seems they may have excess railing that we might get. Won't know for sure until fence finished but it was a definite yes from the contractor boss.

The new fence railing if we get it. And some of Heather's cactus garden.

Drilling the holes in those rail lines would be a challenge. :eek

Not this time as they're just tossing the old bolts and using the same holes.

Looks very straight and tidy. Would think 2wice about trying 2 leap over it tho - any mistake would result in the subdivision of the local ballpark or the subdivision of 2 acres (achers) - :(
