Hi John.   Check out my post about a "Cable Tie" throttle lock.    http://ozstoc.com/index.php?topic=354.msg11547#msg11547 (http://ozstoc.com/index.php?topic=354.msg11547#msg11547)

The one I use is here http://ozstoc.com/index.php?topic=3627.msg63586#msg63586 (http://ozstoc.com/index.php?topic=3627.msg63586#msg63586) Only negative is when it's installed operating the start switch with the right thumb is a little difficult but after nearly ten years I've got used to it.

Found in Australia here http://www.mcas.com.au/motorcycle-accessories-road-cruise-controls/vista-cruise-control-honda (http://www.mcas.com.au/motorcycle-accessories-road-cruise-controls/vista-cruise-control-honda)
