Title: Night Ride Over Mt Mee
Post by: Shiney on August 02, 2016, 12:10:40 AM
Hi guys,

The following video is of a ride Draco and I went on just before he had his heart attack back in April >:()
We decided to head out for a late night ride after finishing some mods on the bikes :grin
On a whim we decided to ride over Mount Mee :runyay

This was a unique ride for me as I hadn't ridden over a mountain at night before...
* There was next to no traffic (this was a first for me riding over Mt Mee :thumbs)
* Looking towards the valleys and over the cliffs the only thing I could see was lights in the distance :crazy
* As for as the road ahead, I could only see what the lights from the bikes would show as it was pitch black :eek

Anyway I hope you all enjoy :thumbsup

I used to ride down through the GC hinterland to visit my siSTer and on the odd occasion would leave a little late on the Sunday afternoon......going the long way home via tumbulgum - cane fields and by the time I'd reached the Hinze Raceway it'd be dark plus the air would be thick with bugs....to the point I'd loose the headlight under layers of bugs and would have to pull over and scrap em off. Not being able to see the corner apex / exit made for a prity sedate trip home. This was back in the days of the gxr and TRX.
