Hello All: Just purchase a 2007 ST1300 24000k, Pick it up tomorrow, I also have a 1997 BMW R1100RS with 90,000k great bike, but the wife decided I was having to much fun, so she has decided to try being a pillion. Problem: didn't like the BM, so a more pillion friendly bike was required.
Looked at many bikes from L1200LT BMW, Goldwing's and Cruisers all with too many km's or build before the year 2000 for the money I wanted to spend
When I found the ST1300 I knew this would be the bike, Even though it was a short ride she feels more confidant I'm also a member of the Ulysses and a group of bikers, who just luv to ride. Best rides are weekends away, were you can blow out the cobwebs, then set down with friends and have a few ales. I have never heard a bad word about the ST's, so I hope to have many km's of trouble free riding.
