Same here. This and the Balranald trip both look good but I'll have to see how my roster pans out.

Won't commit yet due to Ortho appt a week b4 but have got it on radar if all goes to plan so if I'm there I'm there. Could be an excuse for Kev to come over and keep the rebel in line. :dred11 :dred11 :dred11

I am planning to do this one. My great great grandfather was a mail coach driver through there. I am looking up all the references to my family in SA and the Murray River.


I am considering staying a night at Lake Bonney or even going to Adelaide for a visit.  :13Candy

Thanks - hope it's not to bad.

We did sort of loosely plan this one but wasn't sure. Heather has a funeral to attend the week before so it's a no go for us.

I've booked for nine people, and will confirm numbers with the pub a couple of days out from the RTE.
NTRebel (Paul) and  Alans1100 & Heather, I'm sorry to hear that you won't be joining us.
Ppopeye, if you are looking for a Bed, Fed & Shed in Adelaide, perhaps you could get in touch via PM   :beer

I suggest that those who are riding from Adelaide could meet at Caltex at Bplivar at 0900hrs  on Saturday morning.   That will give us plenty of time for a leisurely ride and a lazy morning tea break somewhere.

I'm keen to do the ride and it'd be even better if Julie joined me ... but.... (there's always a but) I'm heading to Byron Bay on Monday for the Bluesfest and return on the weekend before this ride and I may have a swag of domestic duties waiting for me. So, put me down for a tentative yes and I will confirm or otherwise Monday 24th (sorry to be a pain)

Was rostered to work but managed to get a swap.  I don't know how I managed that given my rostered day off was Anzac Day but nevertheless count me in.  However, I want to look at a few things before arriving so shan't be going to Bolivar.

Still remain a possibility. The Bluesfest was excellent and the return home exceeded expectations. Went via Murwillumbar & Kyogle and the flood damage was unbelievable, Also went Thunderbolt's Way, the Putty road, Bells Line of Road (NSW riders are indeed blessed), a couple of laps of Mt Panorama and to finish off, teeming rain between Hay and Balranald which successfully soaked everything. Only downside was some clown backing into Scarlett and tipping her on her side. 5 of us got her back upright but not without a smashed LHS mirror and severely scratched mirror cowl - the idiot drove off, which might have been a good thing. I could happily take a weeks holiday and ride the Putty road for the whole week.

Hi folks, I (we) are a definite yes, Julie is keen to ride up which is great. Julie isn't so keen to ride back that afternoon (which is understandable as she is a Loxton girl) so we are staying overnight to catch up with 'lations and sundry other undesirables. The people we are staying with are also bike owners so I have taken the liberty to invite them to the lunch, mainly because Tony rides a Suzuki when he could ride a Honda, so we have an opportunity to point out the error of his ways. Therefore I'm down for 4 people for lunch - I hope this is ok.
