First off we've got to thank Marcus and Adam for kicking this off.
7am Nick and I set off for Adam's place in Sunbury, 100k's from Pakenham (Nick lives 40k's further east at Heath Hill).
We were both warmly greeted by Adam, Dick and Darren (Suzuki).
We met up with Marcus in Woodend and then headed for Yea via Strath Creek and Flowerdale. Cuppa and a chin wag then on to Alexandra...

From Alex to Eildon over Skyline Rd to the Eildon hotel where the "Busman's sausage" on the specials board was a popular choice.

A great spot to relax by the lake I'll think you'd have to agree...

A quick blast back to Alex where Nick & I said our goodbye's, we had to head south & rest for the west via Pyalong, Lancefield etc.
We headed back through the classic "Black Spur" to Healesville then Worri Yallock, Cockatoo & Paky.
There was talk of an o/night trip to Cann River in the near future.
So you could say Victorian OzSTOC members are up and running and with the best roads in Australia to choose from, we won't run out of destinations anytime soon.
And yes, I do like to keep my airhawk under my shirt at lunchtime :rofl

Thanks again to all for making it a great day!

Thanks for the great write up and photos Chris. Had a great ride. Thanks for everyone making the effort. It was good to meet everyone. Sorry for laughing at you Dickie when you hit the bird looked like Wild Hogs feathers everywhere, thankfully no damage the bike or Dikie.
Thanks guys cheers Adam :blk13

Evenin' All...
First up, thanks 'neighbour' (AJ1300), for inviting me along form the ride...much appreciated...sorry I rode like a girl and carried the rear brake a bit through the corners :o...I'm an old fart now and I've forgotten those nights at the jam Factory and down Collins Street on Blackbirds, Speed Triples and R1's...so I'm still a legend in me own mind...wanna do it again :law
What is it with me, motorbikes and avian wild life!!! This is about the 12th feathered friend I've sent to that aviary in the sky in recent years...I am beginning to wonder whether having just one shoo-Roo actually attracts the bloody things to the bike...I expect I'll be seeing red and blue feathers emit from various crevices of ST plastic until I next take em off for cleaning :'(
Thanks for the write up Chris to...from 'Alex' we highway(ed) it to Tullarook and then introduced AJ, Marcus, and Darren to further wildlife in the form of thousands of wonderful orange butterflys seated quietly on the roads as I approached :), as we took some back roads to Pyalong and Lancefield before cuppa, fag, 'mothers', and whinge about squashed orange butterflys obscuring vision on helmets...didn't seem to bother me :thumb...cant imagine what stirred em up...I heard once that orange butterflys are speed rated to 80kph and therefore wont squash...pity I chose to ride at about 100kph wasn't it :eek
Thanks Chaps, Nick, Chris, Marcus, and me neighbour over the back...I thoroughly enjoyed the day :beer
Hey Baz...sorry I rabbited on a bit over the blower today when you called me...could hardly hear a sodding thing for the noise of engines screaming their tits off...squealing tyres...and something about MX5...Lakeside...Marissa's car...and you having lots of fun...Nah I've gotten that all wrong I expect...Doh! :o
Yeah right, next thing I'll be crapping on how thought I heard Baz fangin' round Ipswich on a chicks 400...that'll never happen...right! :eek
Ciao, the can :)

If you make Cann River a ride a few of us up around Capital Country could very easily make it. In fact, may do it anyway...

That's a pretty good turnout of shirts for a little place like Victoria :p
Anyhoo- a great start, guys, and good pix- always make a story better.

I for one applaud anyone that rides as they want too...it's all a matter of enjoyment..
Kev
Of course you'd say that - given that you arrived 10 minutes after Carsten did to the Nubeena Bakery - you must have done 45km/h out to there! :p :rofl :rofl :rofl
Just kiddin - actually I couldn't concur more with your thoughts. :thumb

Lakes Entrance is an easy morning ride, but a nice place to say over. The RSL club is not too bad to eat at, but some great fish and chip shops. Hopefully by then I will have more time for riding. A plan in the making... :think1
