.. seems just about anybody can 'buy' their way into a position of power... What a joke!
I wonder if he will live long enough to see the Mexicans build 'The Wall', because they will be in no hurry to do so?
-
Actually Trump might need to build a wall up North to keep the yanks in - Canadian immigration site crashed today. http://www.abc.net.au/news/2016-11-09/canada-immigration-website-crashing/8009988 (http://www.abc.net.au/news/2016-11-09/canada-immigration-website-crashing/8009988)

The Mexicans might rush to build the wall just to keep Trump out. :dred11 :dred11 :dred11 :dred11

Maybe the wall should just be built around Trump?
10 ft high should do it?... and then fill it with hot oil ...

All those super-star Clinton supporters who promised to leave the country if Trump wins, e.g. Lena Dunham, Al Sharpton, Miley Cyrus, Whoopi Goldberg, Cher, Barbara Streisand, and Amy Schumer, among others should now be packing their bags.

Do it the Mafia way Kev just give him a pair of concrete boots all the way up to his neck. :dred11 :dred11 :dred11

Apparently, the Canadian Immigration website has crashed or was it turned off ????

What surprised me was how the media and polls got it so wrong.
I was also surprised at the extent of the market’s reaction given that Trump is a businessman and has made and lost more money than the Clintons could ever dream of.
Why is it so important to make sure the right person is elected to be President?
Unlike our country the President is not only the head of the Executive branch but also he is their Head of State and the actual Commander of the Armed Services.
In Australia, the PM is the “Head” of the Executive, the Governor General exercises Head of State functions on behalf of the Queen and the Chief of the Defence Force, a career officer, exercises command of the ADF.
It will be interesting to see how Trump peforms in unfamiliar territory.

I dare say there will be a lot of "You're fired! " statements, followed by a "Sir, you can't fire them."

Which raises a key point- the US Constitution was framed to cautiously limit the exercise of power by any person.
Whilst progressivism tends to increase the size and power of government, perhaps with the advent of Donald Trump, more progressives will realise the importance of limited government.

I'm reminded of the movie, "Forrest Gump".
This is America's "Stupid is, as Stupid does" moment.
I just hope things don't turn out, as some of us fear they might.

All those polls predicted the result and probably most of those who would have voted for Clinton decided not to vote thinking it was a done deal.

"SpaceX can send stuff into space for about $27k per pound. Trump weighs 236 pounds. If the 59,814,018 Americans who voted for Hillary (I’m ignoring independents) pitched in 10c…"
