We had a perfect day for our SA RTE to Normanville, which is a small coastal town on the Fleurieu Peninsula about 70km south of Adelaide. Normanville/Yankalilla is a kick-off point for some great rides through this scenic part of SA, with roads that will take you to Victor Harbor, Cape Jervois, Sellicks Hill, or the stunning scenic road to Carrickalinga and across the Myponga Dam. Our people arrived via various scenic routes, and Paul only had one part fall off his Harley on this ride. :grin (Sorry Paul, but I couldn't pass up making a comment) Normanville is also blessed with a couple of decent bakeries, and of course the Normanville Hotel where me met for lunch. It was great to meet some folk on their first Ride to Eat, and we look forward to seeing you all again.

Thanks to all for an enjoyable day. I intend to participate again.

It was a great day for a ride, despite Paul losing the occasional part off of his Harley. Lucky Honda panniers are large enough to carry the bits that fell off. Great meeting more riders as well.

Good to see newbies, Warren & Marcia got there for their 1st RTE.
