9 am ... Beaut day, around 18 degrees, jumped on the bike for a short 3k run to friends house, had coffee on my mind.
Forgot to pickup my phone.
He was not home. On a whim, I headed out the highway to the strawberry farm at Bolwarra for some berries..
Heading home from there, I turned left for no particular reason, and went to Bunnings.
...in WARRNAMBOOL!
Bought a coffee after leaving Bunnings .... in DUNKELD!
Returned home through Hamilton, MacArthur, and popped in to visit a friend in Heywood.
Around 350 k trip, and home again at 2pm. Good ride, very little traffic.
Message on phone from friend other end of town where I first visited.. "Where are you?.. dropped in at your place for a coffee at 9.05, no one home?"

I'm with you Kev. :thumb If it's a nice day, jump on the bike with a lose plan, and see where you finish up.

Kev sounds like a great way to kill a few hours :grin
Thanks for sharing :hatwave

Good way to kill a few hours.

Was great to get out on a good day and just cruise at leisure.
Warm sunshine, cool breeze, light traffic and open roads..... Who could ask for anything better?

I did something similar today but in Bangkok. Hoped on the bike and headed in a northerly direction on a 115cc Scooter. The challenge was will I find my way back before dinner. After 60km in 2 hours I managed to stay upright, cause no accidant and find my way home, Nice country. I only saw one cop booking a stupidly parked car. Speed limit does apperantly not exist. Doing 70 and Taxis overtake me. Slip lane, any which way you can move and NO aggression. Horn is only used sparingly to ask you to make way. I hope I forget this experience before I came back or I am in deep trouble.

I will arrive in BKK on Saturday, and have 6 weeks of dodging Thai traffic but in a BT50 ute not a bike.
