Title: what a clever son and a 3d printer can do.
Post by: HunterTodd on December 18, 2016, 09:47:20 AM
My son printed an abs bracket for my gear position indicator and a bracket for the controller on my Oxford heated grips on our 3d printer. The controller bracket is particularly smick and looks way better than the scungy metal one it comes with.
Thanks Matt.

He could go into business, turning out gear of that quality.  I presume once the first one is made, it's just a matter of "repeat, again".

I couldn't figure out "ABS", until I realised it's (C8H8)x(C4H6)y(C3H3N)z

that is, a plastic: Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene.
