"And 66% involved no other road users."
I would take that statement with a grain of salt. Several times over the years I have taken the decision to go off the road to avoid hitting a car/truck that has cut me off. What about avoiding animals? That would be the fault of the rider?
The accident I had on the Putty road 4 years ago, I elected to take to the dirt rather than headon into a car on my side of the road. This would have been put down as a single vehicle incident as the car didn't stop. Result was three broken ribs and right collar bone, much damage to ST. Some other riders helped me tape the bike back together, strapped me up and back on bike for 270Km to home. Parked bike and drove to hospital for a four day stay.

Sadest part though is the media sensationalizing the truth. Look at the cover photo 2 bikes on a drag strip, is that what really happens. Nuff said.. :wht11 just more BS........................
