Title: IBA motel recomendations for Ti Tree to Stuarts Well N.T.
Post by: spanner on March 31, 2017, 03:52:59 PM
Howdy all,

I am looking for a nice IBA motel between Ti Tree and Stuarts Well road house on the Stuart Highway.

My style of IBA is a table with a roof. I have my own inflatable mattress and pillow which I usually lay on the table and snooze away.

Something like the attached.

Do you have any recommendations?

Cheers,

Spanner

Hey there Brookster .... I know there are dangers BUT if we lived our lives by the news reports we would stay home and die sad lonely deaths.

I don't mean to belittle the news report as such but the numbers game tells me I am almost 99% not going to die and most likely a 98% not going to have trouble.

Also I tend to have a good whacking stick with me ..... mostly for any wild doggies or pigs which I am much more concerned about than rogue humans.

The news story was just in jest....but should you be doing an LD ride there are LD community members here in Tennant and in the Alice so if we were to know the when and the why we may be able to assist....from here on through to about mid Oct the grey nomad northerly migration is happening so lots of rest stops get filled up pretty much every night...June long weekend is Finke race, someone on an LD ride got caught out by that last year with huge volumes of slow traffic...so let us know the when and maybe the why?
