The last 7x OzSTOC Custom motorcycle Jackets need to be sold !!
If you are new to the group or been living like a hermit here is the much abbreviated version of how these Jackets have reached this point and how you may own a bargain and support your club in new ventures.
The Jacket was originally designed back in early 2014 and supplied in early 2015. Zen Motorcycle products in Victoria were the importer on our behalf with the Jackets being made by a textiles company in India.
The Jackets were designed to suit the greatest majority of Australian riders as possible....they may have been a compromise for members in Cairns in summer and a member in Tasmania in winter but holistically they suited the vast majority as best you can with a single custom garment. The Jacket has numerous ++ vents, a winter liner and a waterproof liner.....all the liners were removable.....naturally the Jacket was embroided with the club logo and in club colours.

The Jackets originally sold for $177 delivered (if memory serves) and we had 82 in the original order.
Members where advised by the OzSTOC management team and Zen Motorcycles to use the DriRider sizing chart supplied by the manufacturing company in India.....this was confirmed multiple times. And here is where our dramas and continued frustration began :H
The best we can establish is the manufacturer took the size provided and made this the external measurment of the garment and then worked inwards adding the winter and waterproof liners to produce a garment that was now on average, 2 sizes smaller in the sub 2XL sizing and up to to 3 or 4 smaller when we got into the 6XL and above sizes.
The new jackets were delivered direct to members by post from Zen with all but 2 members having instant dramas with sizing....so we arranged a members swap program that got 45 members into a fitting jacket....the remaining members had the option of a jacket remake or a complete refund from Zen.
The replacement order was made for 23 Jackets and supplied within several weeks......the financial catch was the Indian manufacturing company wouldn't accept that this sizing debarcle was theirs and refused to take ownership or remake garments until they where paid for by Zen. So Zen Motorcycles was now out of pocket by a few thousand dollars.
Over the last 2 years the OzSTOC management team has been selling off the remaining undersized Jackets to members at a heavily reduced price and the entire proceeds returned to Zen Motorcycles.....OzSTOC at NO TIME made any money from the entire Jacket process.....with phone calls, time and travel it cost individual members loads.
That is about to change....we gave it our best to assist Mark from Zen to recover some costs from the process and have a total of 7 miss-sized Jackets remaining that we can no longer live in hope of a sale to recover costs for Zen.
Zen Motorcycles closed their business over 12 months ago so we will sell the remaining 7 Jackets at again a heavily reduced price with the funds going directly into the OzSTOC account to allow us to put this money into other club ventures.
Remaining:
2x 2XL. = Large ------2x SOLD----
2x XL. = Medium -----1x SOLD-----
4x Medium = XS
If you are normally a Men's Large in a normal shirt size the 2XL will VERY LIKELY fit you fine ;-*
The OzSTOC Custom made Jackets are a men's cut and we will sell for $75 delivered in Australia in ALL sizes.
These are suitable for small to very small adults or kids....perhaps a jacket for the Grandkids :think1
This finely tuned athletic build of mine that has evolved from Bourbon and poor choices is normally a 2XL to be slightly baggy......I'm wearing a 4XL with the winter liner.

This is my original 2XL size ordered that cannot be done up with all liners in.....I'm a 2XL normally.
Pockey is generally a ladies 10 and occasionally a 8....she is wearing a Mens Large. And in the very first photo at the top of the page she is in her now Mens Small.

Well done on persevering with all this unfortunate business, Chris and Pockey!
I will add my recommendation- despite the sizing matter, these are excellent jackets. They have TEN vent zips (6 in front, 4 at rear) and triple secured pockets (velcro, zip and studs). They have reflective panels and are quite distinctive to look at.

OK! OK! Obviously there's to be no peace until I do! :||||
So- there's now 8 in the front, plus 4 in the back plus 1 on each sleeve. =14! Ya happy?
Any advance on that and I want an annotated photo for the ones I haven't found yet. :p

A 2XL and 4x Medium are still available and would be perfect for one on the kids or grandchildren.
They are sitting here awaiting new owners and I would love to get them out of the spare room.
$75 gets you a custom OzSTOC bike Jacket

Hi Pockey. I bought a 3XL and mostly think the jacket is gr8 value 4 money. If there is still a 2XL jacket left 4 a bargain $75 delivered I will take it and use it 4 my son or a summer jacket with lining removed. So, if still available send me the payment details.

PM sent ST.George ;-*

1x XL and 4x Mediums still sitting in my spare room.
Check with your Pillions fellas if she needs a new jacket and get some brownie points for yourself.
The XL would suit a ladies large 12 or small 14 lady.
The Medium would suit a large 10 or average 12 with easy
Sleeve length could be a little long on most ladies, a great Jacket at $75 delivered.

Pockey,
Please PM payment details / method, I'll then make EFT payment, send and the address, in the meantime you can put aside a Medium for Helen (Mrs W).
I think this would make a mighty 40th wedding anniversary (in two weeks) present. I think if one squints their eyes on a dark night, the "orange" may look "ruby".
What do you guys think? Or should I also get something a little more romantic?
