Hi Guys
Looking for recommendations for LED headlights for the ST1300, so many different globes out there it's getting confusing.
I've heard some models blow your fuses, do LEDs still work the same as normal globes, ie normal and high beams?
I want to go LED but want to do it right.
Thanks

An LED shouldn't blow fuses, as they draw less than normal bulbs. LEDs probably arent too suitable, as the reflectors aren't designed for them. Also, I doubt they are legal for the 1300

There another thread in here on different types of H4 leads for the 1300.

These are sold as single units so 2 will need to be ordered:

If you want the same light as Draco, choose the [6500k White] option when ordering.
Draco has also done a review after upgrading to these lights...
It can be found here:

Not satisfied with these options I decided to search for suitable LED globes to suit our car as they would also suit our 1100. A bit pricey for me at the moment but these were the only ones that came up. Looking at the 3rd image the design mimics the standard H4 set up.

Also a cheaper option but with less watts

I have come full circle now with lighting more so with the car than the bike...LED and even HID is great when your primary consideration is alternator output with bikes....STig has Halogen low beam (and a sneaky switch that eliminates the bikes halogen high beam :p) so the energy saved there goes to the LED driving lights on the bike.
Because alternator out put isn't an issue on the car we have gone back to Halogen lights....virtually standard in the cars headlights and have moved to 24v 250watt each Halogen Driving lights. They use a step up inverter to convert 12V to 24V....benifits are instant light over HID with the same penetration down the road even on spread setting as my previous spot 70W HID's and far less agro from the road signs that I felt more fatiguing than poor Highbeam to begin with.

No issue with the Halogens on the Territory though the plastic lenses could do with a touch up but the light out put is ok.
More concerned with the bike when the extra lighting from the trailer is added otherwise H4 halogen and 55w HID driving lights are ok. Even better now that I realigned the lights after fitting the new light mounts. Looking at the LEDs to reduce the overall power load when the trailer is used at night.
