The frame has 106,000 kays, so the engine might have blown up due to a failed belt, for example.  He's replaced it with a 24,000 kay engine.
It looks fantastic, and will go another 100,000 without a peep, but remember, all the wiring and suspension have done 106K.
Gotta love the bling mags!

For its age, despite all the good aspects, I'm still thinking $3K to $4K tops.  A shame when he's just spent $2400 plus the inspection.
There's a '99 with 92000 for $3500 and a '98 with 77,000 also at $3500 among 10 others like it on Bikesales.  They're getting hard to shift in a crowded market.

I got mine, a 2000 model with 37.5k on the clock for under $4K,now added a top box & just clicked over 43K  :Cake1 after 6 months of regular riding.

I have seen a few on Gumtree as well, they all seem to be asking more for older bikes with more distance traveled & not as good nick.

:think1 I did alright with that one.  :runyay

I'm still wondering about the inspection, why????

Its not a normal thing in th west. Only needed for a canary, transfer from interstate or out of rego
