Well done this Man :thumb...I am impressed and slightly envious :grin
Actually, here's an idea for thoughs who praps cannot afford (for one reason or the other), to collect bikes, to collect books on em instead. I do. Though I have yet to get a bargin quite as good as the one sited in this thread and I never walk past a book or op shop without dropping in for a squiz. It can pay off.
Over the years I have managed to procure at least one copy of each of Phil Irving's books, including 2 copies of his autobio he wrote during his lifetime, including one with an autograph. Good collectable and good read books are out there! Just gotta be found. Saaz had a few desirable and collectable motorcycle related books. Including those by Phil.
Lionel / Tez, any idea what happened to John's book collection?
So with this in mind, if anyone come accross an orange and white covered paper back titled; "Ellis Mathewman Bankin, motorcyclist who perished in the desert" (google him), , please grab it and I'd pay you 30% more than what you get it for. And like Bill, I'll pay the postage!
Cheers the can:-)
