RRP. $850 ?....No wonder it never sold.
Even at $499 it will sit on the shelf for a few more years  :o

If you ride behind one the tail and brake lights really do stand out so $500 to prevent being rear ended is cheap but I guess there are other ways of achieving the same result.

I'm not sure if it would have helped when the taxi driver that shunted me (on the ST) in the rear, seemed to be more concerned with talking on his mobile 'phone.

No damage to me or the ST, the damage was to the taxi driver's pocket.  The Police charged him with careless driving (I think that's what they said - sound right Garry?) and using his mobile 'phone whilst driving (they got records of the 'phone use from the 'phone's history), and they reported to the taxi owner who sacked him.

There may be some truth in every cloud has a silver lining.
