when i take a good pull on the throttle i am in 3 houres from one side to the other side of Belgium. i can do 5 countrys in 4 or5 houres of time. Belgium , Netherlands , Germany, Luxembourg (officialy GROOTHERTOGDOM LUXEMBURG) and France. but it is cold in the winter everywhere. i think in Australia temperatures are beter in the winter.

Just looking at our member map we have 4 members in The Netherlands, 2 in Spain, 1 in Portugal and eight in the UK though I don't think any are active at the moment.

Having just returned from Perth by car with two overnight stops I can attest to that. Fairly easy going west though.

Hi Danny,
Welcome to the Australian ST Owners' Forum (OZSTOC). Great to have some from other countries. As well as the ones Alan listed we have a couple in New Zealand and one in Singapore. There might have been one drop in from USA too.
You are right, it is much warmer in most of Australia in Winter. Here in Brisbane we rarely drop below 18 degrees- maybe 14 on a cold night. During the day it stays in the 20 to 25 range. But in Summer we get up to 35 degrees on the coast and over 40 degrees inland.
Tell us about the rides you go on. It is interesting to look them up on Google Maps, especially with Streetview. Are you in Brussels?
-
Welcome Danny. :hatwave
Have fun, post photos, and come visit some time.
Check out the Bed, shed and fed link for some cheap accommodation options.
Brisbane to Cairns is at least a 2 day ride and we haven't even left the state.
One of our members is about to start a 10 week ride around Australia.
Enjoy!

he there,
now i am learning where all these citys situate in Australia. PErth Brisbane, the two most far away city from each other.
queensland , the east part of AU.
Yestherday i have done the last ride on my Honda VFR750f RC24II 1989. it runs great but the ST1300 will do to , i am sure about that.
Visiting AU is more like a dream than reality, but who knows , some time.
Two years ago i have done a trip, the thousand curves , they called it. a rounf 650 a 700km in one day, my with my boldor and my neighbour with the ST1300 i have now b ougth from him.
That pan has done a 5000km trip in Norway in june.
now i will figure out of placing photos in this topic

700 Ks is a shortish trip here, the ST does that so easily. Its only a tank and a half of petrol.
Not so long ago a few of us in Perth rode to Augusta ( a town on the south coast ) to meet up for lunch. Then we turned around and headed home. That was a run of about 750 Ks, we quite often have short trips for a breakfast or lunch of about 350 Ks.
From my house, its about 1500Ks to the West Australian, South Australian border at Border Village.

yes , picture posting succeeded. The man on the picture is my neighbour, a die-hard-Honda fan but he know has fallen for the BMW-VIrus. he bougth himself a R1200RT LC 2014. But he owned still a st1100 1997 with 175000km on it an still runs great . he is now changing the rear-bridge , it is a bit rusted now. the st1100 -bad point. i hope he start riding it soon. :like
i have owned a st1100 1994 too. i have bougth it with the well know ABS faillure. with the help from a men in canada i have figure out to repair it en find the new o-rings. after the revision both of the ABS modulators runs great. after this experiance i have repaired another two for a ST1100 rider with succes. i still have a repaired rear modulator in the garage en test it from time to time.
